Here we have the Morgan Aero 8. A car that was quite a quantum leap for Morgan since this was their first new design since 1964. With the Aero 8 you are no longer bound to your nearest carpenter because the chassis is now made of aluminum instead of wood. Allthough the wood is kept alive by using it in the dashboard.
The engine and gearbox is borrowed from BMW so the modern design is secured by a modern drivetrain.
Crosseyed and charming. Morgan didnt only borrow the engine and gearbox, they also borrowed the headlights which have their origin from the well known VW Beetle.
Morgan claims that the way the headlights tilt is due to aerodynamics and what a charming and characteristic look it gives as well.
The car is an obvious investment now that the future brings us boring Electric engines and 4-cylinder "performance" vehicles.
